Community living camp report

 As a part of B.Ed curriculum, five days community living camp for 3rd semester students started on 12-02-2024. All the students of Mar Theophilus Training College gathered at the college campus at 8:00 am on Monday. The reporting time was at 8:00 am. The official inauguration was organized in the college auditorium. The whole program of the first day was coordinated by the Pampa group. The camp was inaugurated at 10 am by the famous Malayalam writer Prof. Dr. George Onakure sir. College principal Dr. Joju John sir, community living camp coordinators Prof. Dr. Bindu B, Mrs. Shiny Jacob PTA President Mr. Poovachal Nasar Sir, Union Chairperson Ranjitha RJ, Camp Coordinators Mr. Krishnakumar, Shruti Krishnan G. and attended the said meeting.Our first program is scheduled at Ananthapuri Hospital, Thiruvananthapuram from 11-20 am. The program was called Swasti. After the inauguration ceremony, the bus went to Ananthapuri Hospital. We reached there around 11.20. Swasti, a health awareness programme, was conducted by Dr. Shiju Stanley, HOD, Emergency DC.It was a good class. Very informative. There was a demonstration class on first aid from 2.00 pm to 4.30 pm. Every student got a chance to practice what they learned in class. In the last part of the class as a symbol of love, Bindu teacher and Shiny teacher presented a love gift to Dr. Shiju Stanley. We enjoyed the class a lot. We reached our college at 5.10 pm.After tea break we have Mr. Sreejith IPS sir had a class. He included the need and importance of women empowerment in his class. Also pointed out some of the challenges they face. Sir singing a duet song with Radhika was very beautiful. We had a lot of fun.The class ended at 7:30. Then the music band was organized as the concluding event of the day. Then there was the camp review. Dinner was arranged in the college premises. A member from each group shared their experiences.Then we were shifted to Giri Deepam Convention Center for overnight stay.

Demonstration class

 Demonstration class were conducted for 1 st yr students  . I handled activity oriented class on the topic atomic and mass number. My colleges janet and anju took role play model, Betcy took inquiry training model, priyanka took concept attainment model amd finally vivek took ICT oriented class.... All of us handled the class very well..... The students of st. Jhons hss had actively participated in the learning process .
